Decorative linen-look cover 45cm - A two-tone graphic , raw and elegant, between tribal art and contemporary design, TOTEM Rupestre is part of the GRAPHIC collection , where geometric rigor dialogues with primitive power. Minimalist designs thought of as pictograms executed with a broad brush on a troglodyte wall, where the roughness of the stone responds to the fluidity of the gesture, giving the figures an almost sacred intensity.
The TOTEM Rupestre series features a bestiary and stylized faces worked in bold flat tints, a digital brushstroke inspired by the hybrid heritage of Fernand Léger and tribal painting. The thick, structuring black contours draw a clear line between empty and full, figure and abstraction, recalling cave frescoes reinterpreted in a contemporary language.
A committed series which is also an evocation of wildlife threatened with extinction : the puma , the oryx gazelle , the elephant, the jaguar ... So many emblematic animals which, through the simplicity of the line and the strength of the contrast, will be displayed in majesty in a daringly disruptive interior.
