Minimalist designs conceived as pictograms executed with a broad brush on a troglodyte wall, where the roughness of the stone responds to the fluidity of the gesture, giving the figures an almost sacred intensity.
The TOTEM Rupestre series features stylized bestiaries and faces worked in flat, solid colours, a digital brushstroke inspired by the hybrid heritage of Fernand Léger and tribal painting. Thick, structuring black outlines draw a clear boundary between void and solid, figure and abstraction, recalling cave paintings reinterpreted in a contemporary language.
A committed series that also evokes endangered wildlife: the puma, the oryx gazelle, the elephant, the jaguar… So many emblematic animals that, through the simplicity of the line and the strength of the contrast, will be displayed majestically in a boldly disruptive interior.
